A Letter to My Messed Up Self

Dear Self, 

Acknowledge that you're a mess right now. Acknowledge that you're lost, and you don't know where you're headed or what you truly desire. It is fine to be a mess. It is okay to feel empty and lonely. Acknowledge that you are blessed and well-loved, yet something is missing. Too many questions, too many what ifs, too many options, and you're just overwhelmed by life. 

It's normal to undergo such phase. It happened, and happens to everyone. You're biggest enemy is yourself. You know that previous experiences changed you. You became impatient, and grumpy, and ungrateful, but please note that it doesn't make you an evil person. You've been thru a lot, and pain definitely changes people. I know you miss your old self. I know you miss the person you used to be. I know you miss being carefree, and just being genuinely happy. 

You crave so much for something you haven't figured yet, but trust the process. You will figure it out, and you will be fine. 

Go back to what used to make you happy. Go back to writing essays, poetry, and arts. You used to be that girl. You drew when you're bored, happy, or sad. Go back to it. Be better on it. Go back to dancing carelessly. Just go back. Believe in the beauty of simple things and life. You will feel content soon. You will be happy. 

It's just a phase, you'll get over this. 

Find yourself in peace, and everything will be fine. Get back up. People believe in you.
